ABOUT US

Jon Utterback, MBA, CPP, CMC, PMP is the Managing Principal of LeForce Consulting.

 

He leads high-impact pricing and revenue optimization projects across SaaS, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. Jon frequently collaborates with other senior consultants to bring the right mix of strategy, analytics, and execution support—tailored to each client’s needs.

 

LeForce Consulting is built on the belief that pricing should be a growth engine—not a black box.

​BIOGRAPHY: 

Jon Utterback brings over 25 years of consulting and industry experience in pricing strategy, commercial excellence, and revenue management.

 

A recognized expert in both strategy and execution, Jon has led pricing transformations across industries including automotive, heavy equipment, construction, distribution, SaaS, and high-tech. His recent focus includes service parts pricing, SaaS tiering and monetization, and PE-backed commercial due diligence and optimization.

 

Earlier in his career, Jon helped launch Deloitte Consulting’s Pricing & Revenue Management practice, served as a product manager for a leading service parts pricing software, and later led the pricing and inventory optimization practice at Barkawi (now part of Genpact).

 

He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including the Professional Pricing Society, and is known for his practical, data-driven, and results-oriented approach.

 

Jon holds an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University, and dual B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University. He is a Certified Pricing Professional (CPP), Certified Management Consultant (CMC), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
